Parker Mays is a defense industry veteran with deep expertise at the intersection of engineering, business development, and strategic growth. Parker advises venture-backed startups, private equity portfolio companies, and engineering teams on how to align technical innovation with mission-driven market entry, helping clients scale both impact and revenue in national security markets.
Parker recently led a unmanned aircraft manufacturing company where he focused on the capturing new business, building the organization, and managing execution of vehicle development. His leadership included P&L ownership, team management, and direct engagement with DoD stakeholders to transition prototype systems into funded programs.
Parker draws from his years of experience as a senior design engineer at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, where he developed defense technologies for Skunk Works and the F-35 program.
Parker holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin and a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin at Arlington.

A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy (engineering B.S., Naval Architecture) and of the post-graduate Naval Nuclear Power Program, Lyle recently served as Director of Operations at a VC-backed AI startup, growing production and cost savings for e-commerce clients’ post-sales support needs.
